Yog Rishi Brajesh is trained at the internationally renowned Kaivalyadham Lonavla, Pune, and is a direct disciple of the world-renowned Guru Shri O.P. Tiwari Ji. Born into a spiritually rich Brahmin Hindu family in the sacred town of Bateshwar, near Agra, Brajesh developed a passion for yoga at a young age. He quickly recognized its profound power for human advancement and dedicated himself to mastering the practice.
Since 2005, Brajesh has been teaching various aspects of yoga, including asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, meditation, Kundalini Yoga, Kriya Yoga, and sharing the wisdom of Guru Parampara in Rishikesh. He strongly believes that the true essence of yoga lies not in the difficulty of the asanas, but in the level of awareness with which they are performed. Brajesh teaches all levels of traditional Hatha Yoga, yoga therapy for healing, yogic sleep, yogic cleansing, pranayama, meditation, Vedanta philosophy, and offers Yoga Teacher Training Courses.
Yogi Brajesh Ji, the founder of Avatar Yoga School, received his profound knowledge of yoga from the esteemed student of Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati. He considers himself incredibly fortunate to have acquired the true essence of yoga through the blessings of Lord Shiva, which he now shares with students around the world.
Brajesh deeply enjoys instructing the Teacher Training Courses throughout the year. For him, it’s a powerful experience, whether it’s guiding those looking to transition from student to teacher, helping current teachers deepen their knowledge, or assisting students who wish to explore yoga on a much deeper level.
